Official Entertainment Records is holding another hip hop competition. We are trying to find the artist who can write the hottest 16 bar verse. Thats where this competition comes in, this is open to ALL artists who believe they can out spit the other entrants to become the "I Got Barz" champion.

For a $5 registration fee you can enter this competition and go up against other rappers from all around Australia (and possibly the world), and if you're good enough you could not only take out the Official Crown, but some cash money too.

1st Prize: $50* paid into a paypal account, a full weeks worth of promo on the Official Aussie Hip Hop Page

2nd Prize: $25* paid into a paypal account, and a couple posts promoting your music on the Official Aussie Hip Hop Page

3rd Prize: $10* paid into your paypal account, and a post promoting your music on the Official Aussie Hip Hop Page

The Peoples Choice Award: (people can vote for you by clicking the Facebook like button above your post on the Got Barz website, voting starts as soon as your video clip is up) You win a weeks worth of music promotion on the Official Aussie Hip Hop Page.

This will be a judged event and we will be looking at the following:

*Originality
*Flow and delivery
*Confidence
*Lyrical content

You will need to send in a short 1 minute video, which will be posted onto the competition website and YouTube page. Please try and keep the quality as high as possible and make sure we can clearly hear your words.

You will need to download the competition beat first to ensure a fair playing field.

THIS IS NOT A BATTLE we want you to spit the best bars possible!

This event will have paid advertising to try and get as much exposure as possible, not just for the comp itself, but for the contestants. Everything we do is all about giving exposure to the artists.

*Depending on how popular this competition gets we will consider making the prize money higher.

You will need to buy a registration ticket for your entry into the competition. Once your order is confirmed we will email you with the rest of the details including the beat needed to enter. This will be sent to the email attached to your paypal account.

RULES and GUIDELINES (Important)

+ Do not copy someone else work. Your written 16 bar verse must be 100% original material and shall not infringe upon any third party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights nor shall it contain too many vulgar words and excessive sexually explicit lyrics.
+ The language used in the competition has to be in English.
+ The rap lyrics (punchline) should focus more on humor and clever metaphors.
+ The audience voting will be used to break a tie in the judges votes.
+ Each Emcee must use the same beat as their opponent.
+ By participating in this event you permit the recording of your contributions and assign to the organizers the complete copyright and all other rights in your contributions for use in all media and promotion.
+ Competitors who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by the organizers will be disqualified from the competition.
+ This is an all ages event, but if you are too young to have a credit card you will need your parents permission to enter.
+ There is strictly ONE video per registration fee, you can however, buy extra registrations if you want to enter multiple videos.

JUDGING

+ The judging panel will be consisting of four judges. TBA
+ Judges must make their decision independently and will have an opportunity to explain their decisions if they wish, it will be scored in a 3,2,1 format, 3 to their favorite, 2 to their next pick, and 1 to their last choice.
+ Decision by the judges is final. There is no appeal process. PROTESTS - are prohibited and will not be accepted regarding any score or result of a decision.
+ The peoples choice award will be given to the artist with the most votes.
